...but not for too long. We are only about half-way through our wild and crazy days =)
Here is a brief (trust me...this is brief in comparison to what really went on!) recap:
November was blur of activity. My parents have come and gone. My sister has come and gone. Thanksgiving has come and gone, and my birthday has come and gone. Anna had her IFSP, and had a check-up with the cardiologist. I had an opportunity to visit both Charlie's and Paige's school for National Education Week, and I got to read to Paige's class. We even found time to make cars for, and attend the Pancake Breakfast and Pinewood Derby at our church.
In the midst of all of that, we had a floor put out over our family room, giving us an extra bedroom upstairs (yippee!). What a huge, dusty mess our house has been for the past couple of weeks. But, I am pretty sure it will all be worth it when the room is inhabitable. Only the finishing touches are left...painting, trim, light fixtures, and then carpet!
Still on the agenda for next month (in addition to the usual holiday madness): Anna's eye surgery, School parties for both kids, winter concert, DSGNWNJ Christmas party, Cookie exchange (and baking for the cookie exchange), and Happy Birthday Jesus Party. Fortunately, most activities are fun ones!
Here are a few pics from the past month...
Pinewood Derby (our cars didn't do so great...but we had a lot of fun - and learned some tricks for next year!):
